Macrium Reflect LTSC Edition is part of our LTSC program which means it only receives security updates and critical bug fixes.

 

This is a One-Time Purchase, designed as part of a volume licensing program. For customers this means that you have unprecedented control over software updates, ensuring stability and consistency across diverse environments. For OEM’s you can be confident that the software you ship will not require regular updates.

 

Macrium Reflect LTSC Edition is designed for Windows devices and use cases where the key requirement is that functionality and features don’t change over time that makes it ideal for disconnected or restricted environments, medical systems (such as those used for MRI and CAT scans), industrial process controllers, and other mission critical devices.

 

We designed the LTSC with these types of use cases in mind, offering the promise that we will support each LTSC release for 3 years--and that features, and functionality will not change over the course of that 3-year lifecycle. For customers with requirements for longer terms we can offer a 5-year LTSC lifecycle (POA).

 

Business Support can be purchased separately (Individual or Enterprise OEM). There are a number of options for customers looking for ongoing support with 1, 3 and 5 year terms available. New fixed price for adhoc 1 year support options - customers have to pay for the full period of non-payment (eg. if lapsed after year 1, then have to pay years 2 and 3).

 

Premium Business Support

 

Our premium support offers email, ticket, and phone assistance, with the option for remote access to your system when needed. We understand that quick response times are crucial for businesses. That’s why all new business purchases and renewals include our premium SLA for enhanced support.

 

Remote Access

 

Wherever you are in the world, our team can connect directly to your system to resolve issues efficiently, provided your business authorizes and allows the connection. We understand that some environments, such as air-gapped systems or those with strict security protocols, may not permit remote access.

 

Support Response Guidelines

 

For LTSC Business Customers: We aim to respond to support tickets and emails within 12 working hours.

 

While we strive to address and resolve your concerns in our initial response, some issues may require additional time and investigation. Please note that these response times reflect our commitment to prompt replies but not necessarily the full resolution of complex issues. Rest assured, we are dedicated to providing effective solutions as quickly as possible.

 

Disclaimer: LTSC Edition Compatibility

 

The LTSC Edition is compatible with the environment it was released in, including specific versions of Windows, disk technologies, CPU architectures, and file systems. The LTSC launch dates are based on a normal lifecycle; however, if environmental changes occur (e.g., changes in security protocols), we reserve the right to adjust our timelines accordingly and bring a new LTSC forward.

 

Critical Security and Bug Fixes

 

Each LTSC edition includes 3 years of security updates and critical bug fixes (5 years available POA). During this period, if a new LTSC edition is released, customers are eligible for an upgrade at no additional cost.

 

After the LTSC lifecycle ends, customers will no longer receive updates for their current edition.

 

Once the LTSC lifecycle ends, users can continue to use that edition at their own risk without updates, however we would strongly recommend purchasing (or upgrading if available) to the latest edition in order to access ongoing support and updates.

 

We offer approximately a 2-year overlap between versions, allowing customers to remain on their current edition while still having the option to upgrade.
