User Interface
All operations in Reflect™ are accessible in multiple ways. You can
use the task panel on the left side of the main window, the toolbar at
the top of the main window, the main menu options at the top of the application
or right click in the main window for contextual menu items.
The main window is divided into two sub windows accessible by clicking
on the appropriate tab:
Disk Image and File Backup
Select this tab to easily access backup
and restore operations by either:

Selecting the appropriate operation
in the task view

Backup
Files and folders -Start the file and folder backup wizard. This wizard
will step through all the steps required to create a backup file of selected
folders and files.
Create
a backup -Start the backup wizard. This wizard will step through all
the steps required to create a backup disk image.

Right clicking the
drive or partition in the drive layout view
Clicking the corresponding
toolbar button at the top of the window.
Selecting the corresponding
menu item in either the 'Backup' or 'Restore' menu sub item.
The following tabs are displayed when the
'Disk Image and File Backup' tab is selected:

Partitions |
Lists all partitions on local hard disks |

XML Definition Files |
Lists saved backup definitions. Backup definitions are stored as XML
files that are passed as a command line parameter to reflect for convenient
batch processing. |

VBScript Files |
Lists VBScript files (.vbs). VBScript files use Windows Scripting
(WScript) to execute Reflect with the additional flexibility of Windows
scripting objects and methods. You don't need to know anything about VB
Script or WScript. Reflect can automatically generate VBScript files
for you. |

MS-DOS Batch Files |
Lists MS-DOS batch files (.bat). Batch allow you to execute Reflect using
the traditional DOS based approach. Although, not as flexible as VBScript
files, this may be more familiar and therefore more convenient for you. |

Scheduled Backups |
List schedules XML, VBScript or MS-DOS Batch files. Reflect uses the
Windows scheduler to schedule execution of backups
and images. |
Log
Select this tab to view the log of all
completed backups. To delete a log, right click on the log entry in the
date tree view.
