Restoring an image

Restoring an image will completely overwrite your hard disk with the backed up data. All windows settings and data will revert to the time of the backup. If you only want to restore part of an image, data files for example, then you should mount the image in Windows explorer and copy the required files back to their original destination.

 

To initiate the restore wizard choose one of the following options:

 

 

  • Choose 'Restore' then 'Restore Image' from the main menu.

 

  • Select 'Restore a Partition from an image file' from the 'Restore Tasks' panel.

 

 

  • Right click on an image file Windows Explorer and select 'Restore Partition...'
