File Filters

 

 

 

Using standard DOS / Windows file filtering criteria you can select which files to include and / or exclude from your backup file.  

 

For easy selection the drop down list contains recent filters used.

 

Exclude filters take precedence over include filters. This means that if you enter '*.doc' as an include filter and '*.doc' as an exclude filter then NO files of type '*.doc' will be included in the backup.

 

 

Choose whether to exclude hidden and system files from your backup. You should normally select to exclude these files as they are rarely user data files.
