If it is possible to resize the new partition to fill the space created by overwriting the previously selected partitions then you will be shown this dialog.

 

Using the slider or arrow controls increase the size of the new partition if required.

 

 

The minimum size will always be the size of the original partition being restored.

 

The maximum size will be the smaller of:

  • The size of the space created by deleting the partitions to overwrite.

  • The maximum size of a partition based on the file system and cluster size.
