“I have found that Reflect is the perfect backup -- I crashed my Windows XP big time while attempting to install Linux as a DUAL Boot for my PC -- luckily I had made images of my WINDOWS XP partition and with in minutes I was back in operation -- I even decided to wipe out the entire hard drive, recreate the partition, reformat it as NTFS before running the recovery CD. I lost not a single thing - and the system performed exactly as it had before the crash. To me this beats my HP PC's "Recovery Option" because I got back my WINDOWS XP with out all the CRAPWARE that gets installed using HP Recovery at boot up PLUS all the applications I installed since the PC was new. Reflect's performance and and reliability are terrific -- and the program is inexpensive. As a retired network engineer I have seen many backup and image programs that are more complicated to use and don't function as well and cost many many $$ more”

“I am writing to tell you about the superb technical support I received from ‘Nick’ at Paramount Software UK after installing the Macrium backup software from your Dec-07 cover disk. I use a ReadyBoost memory stick on my Dell 1720 MS Vista system which turned out to be stopping the backup software completing its task. An email to Paramount on Sunday afternoon got a detailed response the same evening with instructions on how to run a few diagnostics. On Monday I received a workaround (which worked). On Tuesday I was surprised to receive an email giving me a link to an updated version of the software with the fix included.

Having experienced dismal levels of software support from many so-called ‘world-class’ suppliers, I much prefer companies like Paramount who ‘go the extra mile’, even for a product costing £15.99 with the Pc Pro discount!
